Global trade has grown strongly in recent years. Over 90% of our products are transported via shipping and thus via the port. Due to the consequences of globalisation, drastic savings are being made in personnel, the consequences of which are leading to more accidents in shipping. ToTug is an underwater drone that acts and communicates in a swarm. Its task is to collect ships and freighters from the port and bring them to their berths. With ToTug, the safety of the specialists in the ports can be improved and damage to people and goods avoided.
