In the “Rocked & Rolled” design project, hard drive enclosures were designed for mobile use to withstand extreme mechanical and climatic conditions. Specific design solutions were sought for defined user groups such as divers, mountaineers, archaeologists, mountain bikers or backpackers. In addition to the functional and aesthetic design of the enclosures, concepts for a designbased brand-strategic reorientation were also to be sketched out.
