LightLight

The LED (Light Emitting Diode or Luminescence Diode) is – just like the organic LED (OLED) – the light source of the future. Already today it has found its way into almost all devices and systems for lighting. Nevertheless, the balance between lighting technology and luminaire chassis still seems awkward for the time being.

The semester project attempted to find new archetypes for this product category. The students themselves used functional models – including Arduino technology – to find out how the interactive luminaires should work.
